Richmond Academy is a popular two-form-entry academy with a Nursery. The positive, friendly staff team at Richmond Academy is working alongside the highly qualified and experienced team supplied by Lilac Sky Schools, to raise pupil's standards of achievement and to make rapid progress.

Our main aim is to provide an aspirational teaching and learning experience where pupils understand how to make progress in an atmosphere of challenge and fun whatever their ability.

We were very excited that OFSTED recognised the hard work of all our pupils and staff in our recent inspection. We no longer require special measures and are continuing to make rapid progress as an academy.

In the report OFSTED stated:

'Children get off to an excellent start because the quality of education in the Nursery is outstanding'

'Pupils feel safe, are well behaved and keen to learn'

'Well focused and carefully managed support means that pupils from groups who have not achieved well in the past are now catching up quickly'
